Opening hours vary from mall to mall and attraction to attraction, but BB is an 24 hour kind of place.  That said, most of the shopping happens during the afternoon, and most of the entertainment and dining later in the day.  But whatever time you visit us you'll find thing happening, and you won't go hungry or bored at any time in Bukit Bintang!

Here are some of the major opening hours in Bukit Bintang:

Shopping malls -- All the malls have the same basic times.  Sungai Wang Plaza, Pavilion Mall, Lot 10 Shopping Mall, Berjaya Times Square, Low Yat Plaza, Starhill Gallery, even Fahrenheit 88 and KLCC are open from 10:00am in the morning until 10pm at night.

Attractions -- KL Aquarium is open from 10:30 until 8:00, though last tickets are sold at 7:30.

Small restaurants, nightclubs and bars of course tend to open very late well past midnight and at 3am it is still easy to get a drink or some food on Changkat Bukit Bintang!

Nyonya cuisine

Also called Peranakan this term refers to a unique fusion of different cultures which has occurred in Malaysia when it comes to preparing and eating food. The main ingredients have been the Chinese styles of cooking, but using spices and condiments from the Malay tradition. When combined with the other influences that are so broad in Malaysia this has built up a distinctive style all of its own.

The world famous laksa dish, which combines noodles with a spicy soup and many interesting small additions, is perhaps the best and most travelled of the Nyonya style of food.
